Ziplining through the rainforest near Skagway

3rd port of call: Skagway! Today Keith and I are going to zipline our way through a rain forest! Lessie will guard the ship :)

Street sign that gets stolen the most in Skagway, Alaska: "Ragged Ass Road" ;-)

This Tundra used to be the home of a huge glacier, now retreated all there is left is this braided river

On our way to the rainforrest

This wide stretched piece of land is called a Tundra. It characterizes it self through the lack of trees. It is basically the path where once lay a thick Glacier.

Keith and I are ready to zipline!

This is the image I had in my mind of Alaska, before the trip. Awesome to see in real life.

We're goin' in!

This heavy duty terrain wagon will bring us to the top of the hill in the rainforest

Let's do this!

Little base camp with baby huskey's and a camp fire, while we wait for our ride up the mountain

Cute little Alaskan husky puppies. These are smaller than the Syberian huskies.

Here the baby huskeys can release their energy

Old pictures of how people transported themselves back in the day

Keith is ready to rock the zipline!

So am I!

Here Keith comes in!

Whoohooo!!

Ilona turning upside down on the zipline

Comin' in !!

Our zipline instructors

Our guide Rook taught us all kinds of crazy tricks, like the Fireball.

The surrounding area of this zipline trail is absolutely breathtaking, with waterfalls and the works

We did it! It was absolutely fantastic!
