The best part of going on a trip, is returning home...

...and home is where the heart is.

After our visit to Fairbanks and the Arctic Circle, we drove back down to Anchorage, to fly out the next day. We took another route back to Anchorage than the one we came, and it was absolutely stunning. We passed right by this withdrawing glacier, some 50 miles before Anchorage. Absolutely stunning!

We celebrated our trip with a nice breakfast and toasted on a succesful trip. Tears in our eyes and grateful for each other and the experience. We say goodbye to Alaska, but we are also ready to leave. It was an experience of a lifetime and as expected BY FAR the best trip we have taken in our lives.

A quick stop at the Anchorage Harley Davidson store for some final shopping:

Here is my future bike!

I bought a Harley Davidson sleeveless shirt,... now I gotta buy this bike to match :)

Look at this bear, made up entirely out of old Harley Davidson parts. Absolutely stunning.
After 3 flights and 2 lay-overs we finally arrived back home at the Jacobs home in North Carolina.
The next morning, I had to see my friend Landon again for breakfast. And again we had to put the top down of Lessie's car :) He is so funny. For the hell of it I am going to post all the pictures we took in the car. Remember this little loveable boy is deaf, but very communicative indeed.

Mom!! Look, look!!

Yay!!! He loves to do this in Lessie's car

Ilona, Ilona.... look look!!

Scaring Ms Lessie!

This is so adorable

Final kisses for my babyboy K.J. I will miss this little man so much.

His little onesie says "My Grandpa rides a Harley Davidson" :)

And that is all folks. After a 7 hour flight to London, a 6 hour lay-over there, and then another 1 hr flight home, I finally made it to Amsterdam.

To be reunited with my precious father and mother who I missed very much. I love you guys.
Home sweet home.
